Businessman Sues Fiancee For Calling Off Wedding

A businessman, Alhaji Shehu Marafa, on Friday prayed a Gudu Grade II Court to order his estranged fiancee to return the N500,000 he gave her to plan their wedding. Marafa filed a suit against Aisha Shetima over her failure to honor the marriage agreement between them. He alleged that Shetima collected N500,000 to plan for their wedding.

Collapsed Wall Crushes Labourer To Death During Renovation In Lagos

A 54-year-old labourer, Shakibu Ajagbe, has lost his life after the wall of a warehouse in Matori Industrial Layout, Lagos, collapsed on him and another labourer, Sherif Balogun, who sustained injuries. City Round learnt that the victims were doing some renovation work on the warehouse last Friday when the wall suddenly gave way and fell on them.

Man Nabbed For Molesting 11-Year-Old Deaf & Dumb Girl In Anambra

The police in Anambra State have arrested a 28-year-old man, Ifeanyi Alagba, for allegedly molesting an 11-year-old girl, who is deaf and dumb. The incident took place on Amoko Road, Ifite, Awka.
