A passenger has died and three were seriously wounded after being attacked by a man with a knife on board a commuter train at a station in Munich. According to Mirror Online, Bavarian Radio has carried claims suggesting the man shouted "Allahu Akbar" during the alleged attack. Reports suggest that the knifeman "is young", of an immigrant background and not known to the German police.
It is thought that the victim who died is male. The incident took place at Grafing S-Bahnhof in the suburban Ebersberg area of the city.
Speaking to Bild newspaper, a police spokeswoman said that the knifeman - who has been arrested - had to be "overpowered".
