Former Aide To Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri Mocks Fashola, Says Minister Has Failed Nigerians

Former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has lampooned the Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, saying he has failed Nigerians. Omokri said never in the history of Nigeria have people died from inhaling generator fumes in the quantum that it is happening today.

In a post on his Facebook page on Tuesday, he blamed the surge in the number of deaths on the drop in the generating capacity of the power sector under Fashola’s ministerial supervision.

He wrote: ”I hope Babatunde Raji Fashola who promised that the ONLY way to get power is to vote out PDP, is Reading of the almost daily deaths of Nigerians from generator fumes.

”Google ‘Nigeria death from generator fumes’ and you will find out that NEVER in the history of Nigeria have people been dying from inhaling generator fumes in the quantum that it is happening today.

”Today, Nigeria is generating less power than it was on July 12, 2014 when Fashola made that statement.

”Because Fashola and President Muhammadu Buhari have disappointed them, Nigerians now spend $5 billion annually importing generators! (Please Google this if you think I am lying).

”You see my people, CHANGE DOES NOT ALWAYS MEAN PROGRESS.”
