Family Announces Burial Arrangements For Chinese-Trained Medical Doctor Who Died With Her Mother Few Weeks To Her Wedding

A Chinese-trained medical doctor from Southeast Medical Unniversity, Elizabeth Ihuoma, who died alongside her mother, Julie Adaeze Wagoha, a staff of Rivers Sate University, in a fatal accident in Rivers state is scheduled to be buried next week. According to the burial poster released by the family, they are to be buried on Friday 22nd December 2017.

Elizabeth was to get married on the 9th of December, Saturday… She was on her way to the market with her mother to buy some things for her wedding when the accident happened.
The deceased had boarded a bus and were both seated in front. While transiting, the bus tried to overtake a car but then collided with a tanker parked on the road. All passengers except the driver died in the accident.
The sad story was shared by Chinyeaka Jane on Facebook. What she wrote below:
"May this never be our portion, in our season of celebration………..

She was just 49 , a Registrar in a University. Her first child/daughter was already a Medical doctor at 25 And about to get married. Invitations have gone out and they were just waiting for the great day which never came! The marriage was to take place 2 weeks ago. Mum and daughter left their base,PH to Onitsha to get souvenirs/ stuffs for the wedding and that was it! Death struck!

My heart goes out to their families .

How would one begin to console them? What would you say to the man who.lost a wife and a daughter? Or the children or the young girl’s husband? OMG!!!

Life and Death!

Just before you brag and boast and threaten others, remember that this life is so transient, so fleeting and ephemeral.
Before you complain of all the things you couldnt get, remember that BEING ALIVE IS A PRIVILEGE.

I am just imagining the feeling in their households now. The man of the house and the bridegroom of the dead lady will still not have recovered from this shock, if they will ever. Sad!!

Rest in peace mother and child. At least, you won’t have any more worries again!

My condolences to the family. May God give you and your entire family the fortitude to bear this IRREPARABLE LOSS."
