Police Officer Narrates How He Escaped Death In The Hands Of Over 14 Armed Fulani Herdsmen In Benue State (Video)

A Nigerian police officer has narrated how he and others escaped death after they were attacked by more than 14 Fulani herdsmen in Benue state. He is among the officers sent to the troubled region to bring peace as herdsmen have continued to kill innocent people.

Narrating the incident to Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue state after the escape, the police officer thanked God for saving his life. However, some of his colleagues were not lucky.

"With what I saw yesterday, to go on this kind of operation with motor is not advisable anymore..., if it is armoured tank, we can beat them, because they can't enter inside. If not because of experience, we would have lost more than this...
Confirmed Fulani people. I saw somebody with round everything... and they are Fulani. Have AK47 and machine guns..." The policeman said.
